In the treetop cabin, you spend the night up in the tree crowns alongside birds and squirrels. On the loft you can sleep under the skylight window and look up at the night sky through the branches. The treetop cabin is attached to a solid pine tree and firmly anchored, so you are sure to be safe in any weather. When it is windy you can feel the cabin moving slightly, but the movements are much less than a boat at sea.

The cabin has accommodation space for 6 (7); one double bedroom, and a sleeping loft with 4 beds. In addition, a person can sleep on the sofabed. Linen and towels are included in the rent.

The cabin has a bathroom with bio toilet, power (12v) and water from the tank in the cabin. The kitchen is equipped with whatever you need in order to cook, and has a gas stove and gas fridge. On the porch outside are tables and benches to sit on and a fire pit for bonfires and barbecues.

Hiking and fishing opportunities

Included in the rent are canoes and rowboat hire. Guests at the treetop cabin are free to fish in the surrounding waters, and you find several nice hiking trails in the area.

Combine your bike ride with a treetop experience

If you travel Kystriksveien between Namsos and Kolvereid by bike, add a unique treetop experience to the journey. Himmelhøy is only 29 km north of Namsos, and not far from the island of Jøa where you can combine the bike ride with a speedboat via Abelvær and Rørvik. Read more about the bike routes here.
