IDYLLIC ALONG THE HELGELAND COAST
Centrally located on the coast of Helgeland, Leirfjord is 5 km north of Sandnessjøen (Alstadhaug) over the Helgeland Bridge. There is a connection via road 78 to Mosjøen. Leland Municipality Center is located at road 17, on the north side of Leirfjord.

Just a few minutes by car from FV17 30 kilometers north of Sandnessjøen, you can visit one of Norway's most beautiful power plants. From the parking area, the road is 3 km up the beautiful Forslands valley and ends at the Upper Forsland Power Station.
