It's only a 20 minute walk up to coastal Norway's most famous landmark. The 160 m long, 35 m high and 15 m wide hole through the Torghatten mountain is impressive !

Parking: Torghatten camping - by the motel building. Follow signs to Torghatten from Brønnøysund (12 km).
Difficulty: Easy walk, but a little bit steep. 15 - 20 minutes.
Alternative walks: There are trails going both around the mountain and over the mountain. Contact Torghatten camping for suggestions.
Geologists believe that the hole in Torghatten came
into being after an ice age. Various legends tell a different
story. Perhaps coastal Norway’s most famous landmark
and situated just outside Brønnøysund, The 160 m
long, 35 m high and 15 m wide hole is impressive.
