The area of Egge is a large and unique area, rich in history and other cultural relics. The area of Egge is today administered by Egge museum, which has an open-air museum on the site, consisting of a complete 1800s decorated farm complex. The museum also has an agricultural section with exhibitions from more recent time’s agricultural history and a hydro power complex in Østbyfossen.
