"Island Hopping" by bike on the Helgeland coast / Namdal coast

Kystriksveien is ideal for biking experiences, so if it is possible you should bring the bikes with you. Many bikers do the entire route (10-12 days), but you will also find lots of interesting daytrips like the rountrip around the Jøa island or Leka. See all of our tour suggestions. Hiking - De Syv Søstre (Seven sisters) mountain range and the Torghatten mountain

Torghatten with its distinctive hole through it, is one of the many natural attractions along Kystriksveien. If you travel out in the islands, you will find several mountains with spectacular views - like the Dønnamannen (Dønna man), Rødøyløva or Hestmannen (Horse man). Most are medium or easy hikes, and some are for experienced hikers.
